Imperial's MBA Graduate Joins Qomply

I joined Qomply as a Marketing Intern, and within months, my role evolved into Business Operations Specialist. I came in with a foundation in automation and technology, alongside a strong interest in marketing, sales and business growth. What drew me to Qomply was the opportunity to bring these strengths together in a commercial environment where technology, regulation and trust are closely connected.

Early in my journey, my role expanded across a wider set of responsibilities than I had expected. I supported events, managed day to day marketing activity, helped coordinate go live initiatives, contributed to webinars, worked on performance reporting and handled multiple priorities at once. It gave me early exposure to how a RegTech business operates, where execution needs to be fast, structured and reliable.

It was a steep learning curve, but it accelerated my growth in the best way.  My time at Qomply has shaped how I work, how I think and how I measure impact.

Ownership starts when you step in

One of the most important lessons I learned is that ownership is built through action. There are moments when the work needs to move forward, and the most valuable response is to understand the priority, take responsibility and deliver with consistency.

At Qomply, I was trusted to contribute to work that mattered. That trust pushed me to become more structured, accountable and confident in the way I managed competing priorities. Taking ownership early helped me understand that growth often happens in real time, while you are learning, adapting and delivering.

My technical background helped me work smarter

Coming from an automation and technology background has shaped the way I approach business problems. I naturally look for repeated effort, manual processes and areas where workflows can become more efficient, scalable and easier to measure.

At Qomply, I was encouraged to build on that mindset and use AI more effectively in my work. With guidance and support from the team, I strengthened my automation skills and developed a more practical understanding of AI in a business context. I began to think more critically about where AI adds value, where human judgement is essential and how to get stronger outputs through better structure, clearer prompts and sharper context.

This changed the way I approached day to day operations. I became more intentional about reducing manual effort, organising information more clearly and using data to support better decisions. My technical background became a practical advantage in business operations, helping me bring efficiency, measurement and process thinking into work that needed both speed and accuracy.

Execution taught me what marketing really looks like

Qomply gave me a much clearer understanding of what effective marketing requires in practice.

Being involved in go live activities, Qomply AI webinars and day to day marketing execution helped me see the level of discipline behind every campaign, event and digital initiative. Strong marketing depends on clear messaging, consistent visibility, timing, coordination, follow up and performance insight.

I also saw how marketing contributes directly to business growth. Consistent activity across social media, search and digital channels helps build awareness, strengthen credibility and bring the right audience closer to the business, proving good execution creates commercial momentum.

Marketing requires more than strong ideas. It requires the ability to turn those ideas into action, measure what is working and ensure the work supports wider business objectives.

The people made the journey easier

One of the most valuable parts of my experience has been the team. I have worked with people who are supportive, generous with their time and always willing to help.

That made a real difference, especially while I was still learning the business and taking on more responsibility. I had the space to ask questions, understand context and contribute. The team helped me grow with more confidence, and that has been one of the most important parts of my journey.

Measuring success by impact

My journey from Marketing Intern to Business Operations Specialist has been a period of genuine growth. I learned how to take ownership, apply my technical background in a commercial setting and contribute to work that supports a company where accuracy, clarity and trust are central.

Qomply operates in a space where precision matters. That has influenced the standard I bring to my own work. I have learned to care about the details, the process and the outcome, because each one plays a role in delivering work people can rely on.

I measure my success by the impact I create. If I can make a process smoother, a project easier to deliver, a report clearer or a task more efficient, then I know I have added value.

“I am grateful to Qomply for giving me the opportunity to grow, take ownership and create impact so early in my journey. Qomply have strengthened how I work, how I think and the confidence I will bring to every project I take on.”

Qomply’s promise, “Rely on Qomply”, reflects the kind of work I have been proud to support: dependable, accurate and built on trust.
