In Conversation with Andee Schneider: Leading Qomply's Next Chapter in North America
Qomply is delighted to welcome Andee Schneider as Managing Director, North America.
Andee joins Qomply at an important moment in the firm’s growth, as financial institutions place greater focus on the strength, transparency and resilience of their regulatory reporting operations.
With more than two decades of experience across financial markets, client advisory and technical sales, Andee brings a rare combination of commercial leadership, market knowledge and deep client understanding. Her career has included senior roles at Bank of America Securities, UBS Securities and Trading Technologies, working with some of the world’s largest financial institutions through periods of growth, regulatory change and market transformation.
Her appointment further strengthens Qomply’s senior leadership as the firm expands its presence in North America and continues to support clients in one of the most demanding areas of financial markets infrastructure.
We sat down with Andee to discuss her move to Qomply, her view of the market and the experience she brings to the role.
Q: Welcome to Qomply, Andee. What attracted you to Qomply
The ambition of the business and the quality of the people.
Qomply has built something very strong. The technology is impressive, but what stood out to me was the thinking behind it. The team understands the regulatory detail, the operational pressure firms face and the level of confidence clients need when dealing with reporting obligations.
That combination is powerful. In this market, firms need partners who can bring clarity, not complexity.
Q: You have worked with major financial institutions throughout your career. What has that taught you about what clients really value?
Clients value judgement.
They want people who understand their business, who can see the wider context and who can help them make informed decisions. In financial markets, the strongest relationships are built through consistency, trust and the ability to solve real problems.
That has shaped the way I work. Whether with banks, asset managers, hedge funds or clearing clients, my focus has always been on understanding what matters to the client and helping them move forward with confidence.
Q: What do you think firms underestimate about regulatory reporting?
How strategic it has become.
Regulatory reporting is often viewed as a process, but it now sits much closer to risk, governance and operational resilience. Firms need to know that their data is right, that their controls are strong and that their decisions can be explained if challenged.
That is a much bigger conversation than reporting alone. It is about confidence in the operating model.
Q: What makes this an important moment for Qomply in North America?
The market is ready for a more mature conversation around regulatory reporting.
Firms are investing more attention into control, data quality and resilience. They want to reduce uncertainty, identify issues earlier and have greater confidence in the way they manage regulatory obligations.
As new trading models emerge, from digital assets to prediction markets and more continuous trading market environments, the expectations around reporting quality and control are only becoming more important.
Qomply is well positioned for that. Its strength lies in combining regulatory depth with practical technology, helping firms move beyond reactive issue management and towards a reporting process built on quality assurance, rolling reconciliation and greater control.
Q: What excites you most about joining Qomply?
The scale of the opportunity.
Qomply has momentum, strong technology and a clear purpose. The business is entering an exciting stage of growth and North America is a significant part of that journey.
I am looking forward to working with the team, building strong client relationships and helping Qomply continue to grow as a trusted partner for financial institutions.
